A great way to end the season with the two Hythe sides competing against each other.
We knew it was going to be a tough evening and when Lenny produced the goods to beat Jason Mansbridge 2-0 the B team wre in high vocal spirits and their were some worrying looks amongst the A team.
All evening the match went to and throw. Chiv got the best of Dan Hockley thanks to quick finishing otherwise it was Dan who scored the better ~ 2-1 the result.
Then Ryan Wells played well to beat Wrighty 2-1 only for Scotty Rollinson to square the match up again with a 2-0 whipping of Zac Millar.
For the 3rd time the B team went in the lead when Rylee Bambridge whipped Andy Munden 2-0 but Pete Bambridge then beat Alex Nicholas (who looked brilliant in practise) 2-0.
3-3 going into the doubles and no sentiment from Wrighty (learnt from playing cricket with Northy on a Sunday for 10 years ~ win at all costs) he sent on Chiv & Scotty against Jonjo & Tom Richards. Scotty again proved way too good and the A pair won 2-0.
The game was settled in the 7th match when Chalky & Derek beat Rylee & Dan Taylor 2-1 in a good game. The B Pairing of Ryan & Sam Page won the final game 2-0 over Charlie & Frosty 2-0.
So a 4th place finish for the A team whilst the B team finished 7th
