What a shame the weather got the best of this encounter as Hythe reduced Fawley to 199 a/o at the break
Could we have got the runs ~ no one knows but rain had fallen through the 20 mins of tea break before the Captains halted procedures.
Kieran Earl & Will Crossley put on 104 for the first Fawley wicket and a 250 score was on the cards. But the Hythe bowlers fought back well ~ Tom Gates taking 5 for 8 and two wickets a piece for Andy Wakely & Mike Bowman.
