The biggest crowd for many seasons saw Hythe 1st XI & O.T's & Romsey serve up a cracker of a match that went down to the wire.

After Tim Ndowora got a early wicket O.T's got off to a flyer through overseas Bothwell Chapungu 50 & Joseph Dhariwal 25, putting on 81 for the 2nd wkt. Harry Tulk made 26 but Hythe came back well with 2 Wakely wickets. O.T's skipper Charlie King 58 & Rhys Wathen 21 then added 61 for the 5th wicket. 

Tom Gates took 4-49 as Hythe kept in the game OT's finally all out for a par 223. 

Hythe  were going to have to start well but lost Tom Gates cheaply. Andy Wakely 42 & Zac Millar then added 93 for the 2nd wicket. Hythe lost regular wickets but Millar was in sublime form hitting 7x4s & 6x6s before being out for 94 with Hythe 172-6 and still requiring 52.

The game was nip and tuck and went down to the final over where Hythe needed 18. Dan Taylor 35 hit the first 2 balls for six but was then caught on the boundary on the 4th ball ~ O.T's winning by 2 runs.

RESULT :  O.T's & Romsey Beat Hythe & Dibden by 2 Runs
