H&D 4th XI Review 2025

A disappointing season ~ not anyone's fault ~ just a lack of players & unavailability.

We had to concede 5 games which is not something as a club we like to do and let other sides down.

Credit to Fletch for trying to get a team out most weeks but at the end of the day ~ should we be trying to get 44 players out each week.

Of the game played however we did manage to win 4 matches which in a normal season would have put us out of the bottom 3.

Fletch finished top of the batting scoring 319 runs with a highest score of 84. Mossy scored 189 runs whilst Jonjo Stovell's cameo game for the 4th's saw him score 167* vs Redlynch & Hale.

In the same game ~ Fletch & Jonjo's 5th wicket partnership of 148* was a new 4th XI Club record overtaking Shaun Moss & Mark Fry's 9 year record.  

Drew Bennett & Andy French hit maiden half centuries whilst young female Bailey Whittaker made her senior debut and took 3 for 20 vs Ferndown Wayfarers. 

Meanwhile with the ball only Zac Moss (11 wkts) reached double figures whilst Sam Page in his only appearance took 6 for 29 vs the Dorset Indians.
