Indoor Nets Extended

Both the Senior & Junior Indoor Training has been extended by 2 weeks.

The Seniors will continue on a Tuesday upto & inc 16th April @ Gang Warily 7-8.30pm.

Meanwhile the Juniors will continue after Easter Holidays on Monday 15th & 22nd April @ Noadswood School

Update on Jones Lane

Football has now finished however the Council have struggled to cut the outfield because it's so wet.

The Artificial Wicket desperately needs a clean. Once someone volunteers for this ~ then Pagey will stretch the carpet ready for play and it will be marked.

Unfortunately every year the rain with the help of the slope ~ water & mud comes off the football pitch & square & onto the artificial wicket.

The square has been cut & rolled but only with a mower with weights in the bucket.

Its too soft to bring out the roller and it will only cause damage to the square.

Everyone is in the same boat unfortunately and with 20 rolls of the entire square needed it puts pre season games in doubt. But you never know

What we don't want is after all this rain ~ we have baking hot weather for a month. Then we will have cracks appear on the wickets as last year.
